Hi Ben
My waist is right on the edge of the medium and large due to winter fat... I'm positive this will be down once riding season begins...![]() Do I buy the Medium or the large? How do you measure the inseam? Ok, I know HOW to measure but I'm looking for how YOU measure...I put the tape to the groin and measured to the floor and gave some "room" in the crotch. Came to 31 inches. Will the pants ride up a bit or have you cut them generously? Is your sale still on for Large? Thanks Garrett

Looks interesting, ride in temps down to -15degC (5degF) and up to 25degC (80degF)...but then I just wear mx pants.
Anyway, several guys recommended Klim Traverse pants so bought it but really disappointed. Fit and comfort is great but they take no abuse. After a couple of trips I had holes, tears and burnt through fabric down to membrane just very briefly in contact with exhaust. And this was on easy trips without crashes or anything. So when wear them out, I'll but some more rugged stuff...will come back. Is it space for protective shorts under? Oh, and those videos where amazing! Only done offroad couple of years but been lucky enough to ride in Wales, Spain, Italy and South Africa (besides Norway but not really allowed riding outside roads here). All fantastic places but Utah looks like it was made for enduro! Are there companies renting bikes and doing guided tours?

So sorry for the delay I just got back from riding a couple days in Moab, UT
![]() Anyway, Garrett.... I already answered your question via email, but for everyone else.....Generally, the current 2012 Medium Colorado pant will fit great for people under about 5'11'', and will probably be too short from anyone over about 6'1". In the upcoming version more length has been added to the "standard" length pants. Pingvin.... I am not surprised you are having problems with the Traverse stuff, it is quality gear, but any water proof breathable apparel will never be as durable compared to non-waterproof clothing (see post #52 in this thread for some more info). Utah is a great place and if you ever get a chance to ride there it is well worth it. There are several companies that rent bikes/tours. Ben

First off, I am in no way associated with Dubinky. Didn't plan to give the Colorado pants a rain test but it happened. I rode 2 hours in a Georgia frog drowner and was pleasantly surprised on how dry I was. The only place I was wet was in the crotch area. I've never owned a pair of riding pants that this wasn't the case. If I had my Dakars on I would been soaked everywhere. Really liking thee pants.

Ok works now. I tried to pull down a size and it only gave me medium before. Working now
pants size 36. riding gear is usually tight at 36 due to braces and shorts with padding so 38 . looks like size large will work thanks bob

Good. I would guess the larges will work, but maybe just measure your waist with a tape to be sure and compare the the sizing chart. Some times jean sizing can be very misleading. Let me know if you have any questions Thanks Ben
