Sorry to see you selling such a perfect machine. I know only to well what it's like to sell a project like this due to the down turn. 5 years ago I wouldn't have blinked in the purchase of this bike, but for now I'm back to dreaming.

Hi folks!

Can somebody please tell me how much oil should I put in the engine case (1,3 lt or 1,4 lt) and into the chassis? (0,6 lt?)

And how to remove the paint and re-paint?

My bike is 2002.

it's 1,3 l oil in the dipstic hole (engine) and 0,6 in the front frame tube

ktm twins do/did sell them,they are a lot cheaper than in the past.

Just wandered through your thread again to find some ideas for my project

Didn´t your Keihin have the throttle potentionmeter ???
The bike seems to have the older Adventure-like CDI, maybe thats why ...

And with which special coat did you get the tanks painted concerning gas vaporing ? You said a local paint shop did it, how much did you pay for it ?

How did you clean and polish the exhaust pipes and mufflers ?
