Ride the damn thing offroad, maybe a rally but ride it on tracks, tracks and tracks. It's made to scare the crap out of other people gnagna

Hmm tempting, fiest weekend will be the GS Easter weekend, int event. I put some tracks together in the north.

We definitively have to go in two weeks and the date is fixed so far, because we need to prepare for the Baja 300 Mitteldeutschland which is at the beginning of may

The only reason to cancel the tour is if there are sub-zero temperatures, but I hope at the end of march we will have nearly two digit degrees plus...

Its tight but fits, I've had to leave the drain hose off the fuel bowl but yours looks like a KTM battery holder whereas mine is fabricated. The 98 660 had the setup you have. Some of the second generation 660 Rally factory bikes used an FCR with the battery under it.

I did a trial fit of a 39mm fcr on a 00 660 with oem battery holder,had little or no clearance from drain spear on bowl to top of battery,it was a few years ago so maybe some of the later generation smaller batterys like shorais will give required gap between bowl drain hose/battery to fit one.
