Thanks for the day, Blaine!
Tasks performed: Got Jay's pretty R90/6 purring...valves adjusted, cables and carb sync, points gap, needs new choke cables, and properly rerouted the throttle cable on the left. Pulled a center stud, no biggie, was done by the PO. But a few people had not performed a valve check so it was good that was covered...Thanks Len.! I only snagged a few photos..... Nice to meet you guys and Ross, tell your tale someday. I'd like to hear it as not many airheads get to run the TAT. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Brad just departed. He stayed to the bitter end and helped me get my rear main seal replaced.
I can't believe what a success this day was. So glad that so many people showed up! This definitely bodes well for another one being hosted. I heard whispers of one possibly the 2nd weekend of December. If we keep this cycle up, we could have everyone on a running airhead eventually!

Good times
Yes, thanks again, Blaine, for hosting. I wish i could've stayed longer. Sounds like everyone was able to ride home. Was there a final verdict on the r90? Colortunes are cool.
Speedy recovery to you, Ross. Good to see you again. Prof. Len, what's the next class? I'm in! |

Blaine thanks so much for setting up this training day. Not only did I learn a ton, I met a bunch of nice and extremely knowledgeable people. Having just moved to ATL it was great meeting everyone.
The ride back home was a DREAM!!! I really would never have guessed my bike could run so smooth. These were the only good pics I took (was too busy leaning stuff). Thanks again. ![]()

Round two?
I'm thinking you should have another in the late spring or early summer. I need an excuse to head back south on the bike!
![]() I can see the conversation now: Border guard: Where are you going? Me: Atlanta GA. Border guard: What is the purpose of your trip? Me: I'm going to get my carbs synchronized and chew the fat with a bunch of people I know on the internet. Border guard: Step inside sir..

Yeah, ya'll hit the stuff I need to do, carb sync, valves. Unfortunately, training a couple of young puppies took precedence yesterday. Next time!
