Any motorcycles ever manufactured in Michigan?
Just wondering if there were any marques that produced bikes in Michigan? It seems like there would have been some synergy with all of the early auto brands made here. Anyone?

"Synergy" hadn't been invented then. It took til Honda pasted on the back window of a LMB to mainstream it. Just jackin ya, good Q. As an anythingwithanengine enthusiast, I'm still intrigued by the car/truck regional history. Walter truck, FWD, Oshkosh, Lombard tractor in Maine, Rokon in NH, Indian motocycle in MA, etc

We should have crushed Ohio during the Toledo war, and then they would have been made in Michigan.

Whizzer motorbikes were made in Pontiac, and Ruttman minibikes in Dearborn Heights.
The Henderson was originally built in Detroit. Ignaz Schwinn bought the company in 1917 and moved it to Chicago.

Hmmm, since we're in the "old school" forum, I was thinking of classic motorcycles manufactured in Michigan, not modern customs assembled in Michigan. Thanks though.
