I use a trials tire, never dig holes, skid or tear up the trail. Especially when I ride The Pacific Crest Trail.

we ALWAYS respect home owners and property owners, not to mention hikers and horse people!
it would be REAL hard to close that place, there is 200+ miles of ST up there!
sos has been doing a great job up there keeping everything in order!
we always lay down the law to new riders in our group: no skidding/ no roosting, no digging holes and no squiding, but some goons just dont get it and think it cool to act like a teenager
Chris has done a great job, and i truly do not believe it would be the way it is at the moment without his work! I put years of my life maintaining, cutting in, and clearing trails there long before it become as known as it is now. Lots of the legal marked trails that existing there are trails that were cut in by myself and the group of people I rode with.
I make it down there a few times a year to enjoy it, I heard some of my info about the full time residents from a property owner that was at the KTM rally in Bend this last September.
