I'm not gonna boycott COTA, I like MotoGP too much.

Where can I get a few Kevin Schwantz T-shirts to wear that weekend at the track?
The louder the better.
Something flourescent that sez "Kevin Schwantz- World Champion and Fantastic Person Generally" should do.

Yes, it seems they may have unwittingly helped Kev recoup his lost $ with T-shirt sales!?

I think it's a shame for Kevin to be treated that way even though he started the law suit.
Seems like a huge low class move by the folks at COTA .
Unless i am mistaken , credentials and pit passes are all vetted and approved in advance by the facility .
Was Kevin using another name when he applied for his credentials ?

Journalists are issued individual, named passes, as are riders and regular team members. Teams are often also given a selection of anonymous passes for guests and other sundry visitors. I suspect Schwantz tried to enter using one of those passes.

Was it a matter of cutting out the middleman (Schwantz) to save some bucks?

Probably LOTS more here than meets the eye, eh?

What really matters here is that the whole thing is a stupid mess, does nothing to enhance the racing, improve the sport , or get the fans excited about GP racing.

Bunch of drama queens with more money than brains .

For sure.

From what I've read, it's not clear that KS had a contract -- or, at least not a very good one. It would be so much more classy if Dorna / COTA made a place for him, like they did for Capirossi. Schwantz has been lobbying hard for a Texas GP for a long time.

Perhaps a better way of saying it is ;
There are two sides lying in every story, and somewhere in between lies the truth.

Saw that the other day, if they had Toby, Julian and Neil doing the comms I'd buy the pass in a heartbeat.
