Talk about a guy you could love to hate. I spent I dunno how many years living on the edge of my couch hoping Aaron Slight would get him, but the bastard can ride a bike unfortunately.
You watched the races though, didn't you!

Shit yeah!

Remember that booming Ducketty with that mad Irishman all over the damn track over the humps at Assen?
Or Duc/V4 Honda/GSXRs/green ZXRs (that could actually win a race or three on the trot) all cutting each other up on street tyres at the end of the chute at Monza?

Anyway, enough talk about racing. We were discussing MotoGP weren't we?

As stated ^^^ I have fond memories of this as well, but this last bit caused me to spit tea all over my bloody computer, funniest thing I've read in ages.

Good modern day race today. Nice to see more than one nationality on the podium. Someone is making a good case for deserving a factory seat.

I read a blog about the data from Marquez's big crash in practice.
The data showed that he maxed out the accelerator data points on the air bag suit, they only go to 25G's so they know he hit at least that hard.

What was also interesting was the graph that showed how fast the suit's air bag deployed, within one 25hundredth of a second of his starting to leave the bike.
Amazing technology

For all the hype with the kid, the guy on a satellite bike without a ride next season is within 6 points.

MM was on his way to a second-place finish, after crashing three times during practices, including one get-off at 200mph, where he had injured himself, too. Yes, he made one more mistake, and that meant he got DNF this time, and in hindsight it would have brought him a better result just to follow Pedrosa to the finish..... but seriously, WHAT exactly is it, that heīd have to do, to satisfy some people???!? He is in one word brilliant, even though he crashed. Heīs already won in a very convincing way, been on the podium 4 out of 5 times, and heīs been steadily up there with the best in almost every practice session, too, ever since he hopped on that bike for the very first time.

Nobody, except maybe Stoner, could ride Stonerīs ex-machine like MM has done.

Yes MM is scary fast and confident as hell , but that may be youth and exuberance that will temper with time.
But he sure is fun to watch , can't wait until Maverick Vinales comes up to GP .
I'll wager they will have some great battles on the track then.

The announcers said that Biaggi was at Park Ferme yesterday. Probably looking for his pal Rossi

I can't help but think of that satellite-bike rider's team mate from last year (who pretty much owned him all season) languishing on a Ducati! What was Dovi thinking moving there?
