Would love to watch him in WSBK. I think his upbringing in dirt track fits a heavier, less precise, powerful type of bike. I believe he represents Ducati very well.

Russel has been the commentator for a long time on Speed. I agree his voice is annoying.

Edwards would be a great commentator!

Finally watched Moto3 this morning. Great race!
We know Nicky was not in WSBK....Krop was saying that might be his next move.

Good on them for taking a chance on racing in Britain but I'm not sure that's a great way into GP. Most of the Brits who are filtering through now have come via at least some involvement in Spanish championships (Brad Smith,Scott Redding, Kyle Smith, Danny Kent, Danny Webb). Obviously there are exceptions like Cal, Michael Laverty, Gino Rea as well. It's just such a tough job trying to break through without significant financial backing though even if you're fast and talented.

Sure?

Either way been there or not. Would love to see it! I think the racing is more fun to watch and from what I hear the racers enjoy it more. Less money but less stress and not as cut throat.

Tommy never raced WSBK. Roger raced the entire 2010 season on the Pedercini Kawasaki nail.

You are correct..I did use the word "again". My bad. That is what happens when I am doing multiple things and let work get in the way of posting online.

And yeah, it would make for some great racing.

The best way to motogp is via red bull rookies and moto3/moto2.

There is an interesting belgian boy with spanish/italian roots coming up that path : Livio Loi. http://motor-racing.tv/livioloi/

First race at Jerez (he was too young for qatar), struggling a little with the minimum weight because of his small posture.

Four wheels good, two wheels better

J.D. Beach and Jake Gagne were RBRC champions. Fat lot of good it did them in the MotoGP paddock.

My friend texted me today, we are both riders and often talk about motogp. He said he just got back from Zurich and was sitting three rows back on the plane from Casey and Adrianna. He went up to say hi, and wound up chatting with Casey for a little while. Said Casey was really friendly, and when my friend asked if he would ever come back to motogp, Casey gave him a smile. Casey also told my friend he did not even have a bike at his house!

I just picked this up on Twitter from Azi Farni (BBC MotoGP presenter);

@AziFarniBBC

"Pramac have now confirmed that Max Biaggi will test Spies' bike in Mugello tomorrow and Friday. Pirro will replace him in Catalunya though"
