Wouldn't it be a stunner if Marquez took the championship, or just seriously challenged the top 2 for it?
(ok, maybe that was a bit much )I bet he will win a race, maybe more than one, before the season's over...

I see him winning at least 2 races in 2013, and making life very uncomfortable for Lorenzo and Pedrosa in 2014.

Hey Krop!
Krop, Any thoughts/speculation concerning Val being back on a Yamaha and his ability to contend up front?

I think he'll be able to win a race or two, but I believe that having to race Stoner on a Honda has forced Lorenzo and Pedrosa to really improve their game. Lorenzo and Pedrosa have had two more years to mature and improve their focus, as witnessed by Pedrosa's standout season. They are now at their peak, and beating them regularly enough to be champion is a massive task. I see him getting 3 or 4 wins. But I also see him finishing behind Pedrosa and Lorenzo in the championship, and with Marquez snapping at his heels.

Earplugs and medical care. Earplugs to cope with the quantity of whining emanating from the current top riders, and medical care for Marquez as he attempts to become the first person to achieve low earth orbit without the aid of a rocket.

I think Marquez will be going after Lorenzo's record!

Make no mistake Rossi is hungry. Not gonna win on 3 different manufacturers, he wants to go out as a 10-times world champ. Pissed off too because of two wasted years. But Krop is right, Pedro and Jorge will be very, very tough to beat. Still got a feeling Rossi can challenge. But now he's not the golden boy @ Yamaha - I wonder, if their riders start exchanging paint on a regular basis, will the other factory bike then be more factory than the other?

I think next years title battle will be between Rossi and Lorenzo. Both fast, smooth and CONSISTENT.
Pedrosa has never been consistent, last part of this season was good, but his record on the honda, doesn't qualify an Alien status. He will never win the title. imo. During his time on the honda, both Nicky and stoner were able to win a title, Pedrosas record sucks. Marquez, i think might win some races next year or maybe not...might just crash alot... Iannone might take rookie of the year title if Ducati starts improving. |

Yeah, he can ride. But putting together a winning season? We're still waiting.

Actually, 2012 was a winning season for Dani. It just wasn't a championship season.
