Never heard anyone question Pedrosa's alien status.

Pedrosa is an Alien. He has just disapeared from the others at times. He(or his team) arent as consistent as the others, and he does seem to suffer from tough luck at times.
Marquez.I really dont know.We will see just how different the motogp bikes are than anything else in the paddock.on one hand i can see him having a season like Lorenzos first, but like lorenzo and Stoner i can see him having some success too.
As for the whining about hard passes i think the only ones who can judge that are the riders. We can never know what its like being forced off line on one of these beasts. To ride them at the limit makes every turn in point a pinpoint manouvre.I imagine they are a lot less forgiving than a moto2 bike.

Pedrosa won 6 out of the last 8 races. If his team hadn't fucked up, he might have made it 7. Out of 8.

Yeah, his record sucks.

Yes, i said: end of this season was good.

His MotoGP record goes back to 2006.

Seems next season has the potential to be the most interesting in a couple of years. J-Lo and Porcellain-Pedrosa are joined by Marquez and Rossi up front. They did not get fast racing Moaner, J-Lo got fast racing Rossi, who's back and hungry, and Pedrosa got fast, meaning champion fast, racing J-Lo last year. Dispersed wins is an accomplishment of course, but it's not a champion. Maybe he learned this previous season what it takes though and will actually challenge next year. And they're you throw Marquez in that mix, who has the potential to inject a hell of a lot more excitement than the one that left, at the risk of the whining starting again from the girlies in the knitting club (but at least the biggest one is gone)..

Or J-Lo will play things smart again and just kill off the championship before it really started... If only the tests had given any indication of anything..

No kidding, lots of ideas, gut feelings, and opinions floating around. It would be nice to have some better idea how they're going to stack up to one another.

How did they get fast racing Rossi, who has been 15+ seconds behind them for the past two years?

"they" did not, J-Lo did. Remember there was a time before the last two seasons?

I presume you have measured the differences in race times between the seasons Stoner was on a Ducati and when he was on a Honda?

What's that got to do with J-Lo getting to be fast?

He became champion the year before Moaner moved, saying that he got fast racing him on the Italian Harley as someone called it is not exactly correct (even with the shaped-up second half of that season they had). And the year before that.. well..

You are claiming that racing against Stoner did not make Lorenzo fast. Can you show me the data that proves that assertion? It's all there on the MotoGP.com website...

Yes, I could. If you argue that Stoner was the chief competitor for the title and in individual races during 2010, I would also refer you back to that official website with results. Have a look at 2009 as well while you're at it. But if you want to talk about burden of proof it lies with you, since you claimed that it was racing against Stoner that made him fast. He was fast already before that. You're trying to credit Stoner with another thing he doesn't deserve.

Just as you are continually trying not to give Stoner some credit that he is due.

Bautista, Bradl, and Crutchlow could be fighting for the final podium spot quite a bit next season i'm assuming. It will be nice if Ducati changes its fortunes around. My biggest wish for '13 is for Nicky or Ben to get a win in the dry. Pipe dream i know...but who wouldn't love to see that?

I'm a sucker for the old US of A. I'd love to see either one of them get a win next year. We'll have to hope Ducati turns lead to gold next season.
