We've already seen even Lorenzo go down hard without provocation. We've had Bautista take out Rossi, and in the next race he just missed Rossi but took out himself. Crutchlow has crashed all by himself in a race, as has Marquez. Marquez has narrowly missed taking out Pedrosa, and certainly chose valour over discretion at Jerez with that last-corner move on Lorenzo. Crutchlow was inches from upsetting Marquez and himself when Marquez brake-checked him on the last lap at Assen.

Did I miss anything?

My hazy memories of prior seasons where there were this many able to run near the front, tell me that we can expect sharp reversals of fortune.
I shudder to think of another wet race at Sepang or worse yet, a dry race at Indy.

Haven't seen any details about Argentina written here, so I'll ask.

How do the teams handle their engine allocation when they go to a track that will be on the schedule next year? CC went there, he is the highest placed rider that made the trip- but hasn't his team sealed their 4th engine?

Does Dorna make any allowances for this situation?

Recognize Guy Martin sitting down but who are the kids?

Weird side note. Taking Chantix and having super vivid dreams. Dreamed last night that I was racing in the IOM TT but they had forgot to close off the course from cars. Still a very fun dream though.

While several MotoGP riders are in Argentina, Assen GP race winner, Valentino Rossi was back at home in a hot Tavullia training, and the Italian had a very special guest at his Motoranch, TT rider Guy Martin.
Judging by the amount of dust on Rossi’s and Martin’s boots and the tiredness on their faces (Moto3 riders Niccolò Antonelli, Romano Fenati and Rossi’ step brother Luca - who also races - were present), it must have been a hell of a workout or a very competitive race.
This image tweeted by Aldo Tebaldi, would definitely make a great ad campaign for Dainese.

Luca is not Rossi's step brother. They have the same mother, different fathers. Some would call that half brothers. I would just call it brothers.

Those were great shots of Rossi and the guys. I laugh whenever I hear someone complaining about one of these guys getting hurt riding motocross or supermotard. That how these guys live and what helps make them great.

Their control in incredible but... they are human and do make mistakes which can be costly. They are extremely competitive which also drives their training... and can get them hurt doing it ;)

Hope the championship gets tighter and stays that way until the end.

Mates

If you disregard the sponsorship logo's and the fact that these guys are active at the pinacle of motobike racing then its a photoof mates having fun on bikes and could be anywhere.

TO me it just shows that motorbikes is thier life and not just money or fame, they simply enjoy what they do.

I am sure some beers were cracked open afterwards.

It seems Rossi has always taken young guys under his wing, no pun intended, whether is it young japanese guys or in this case young Moto3 guys. SOme may disagree but he seems to be liked in the paddock.
