Would be nice to see him healthy and able to ride again, but his best days are long behind him (IMHO).

you never know

More importantly, where is the Laguna Thread? Waiting until the last minute?
Double the speculation, twice the fun!

CE II to podium!

or at least wheelie down the corkscrew.

I has a sad on.
I'm born ,raised and live in Kentucky. I spend a lot of time about motorcycles.
I've been riding Ducatis since 1979.
The one guy that's from Kentucky that won a Moto GP Championship moved to the Ducati Moto GP team and I was happy. I would have been happier with better results , but still, there was always next year. Until now.
I'll be a fan of #69 for whatever's next.

Now that Nicky is officially out the cynic in me really hopes Ducati make no progress. That'd be a real kick in the teeth for NH.

thank God!! Nicky needs to ride something, anything, that has a chance of winning. Hopefully he made some decent money while riding the turd.
Good for him, move on. I'd love to see him stay in motogp, but there are really no good seats left, so maybe WSB, I think that series needs an American in it again, and I think Nicky would have a blast running with those boys and enjoy the more laid back atmosphere.

Bad taste in the mouth. But really it's for the best I think. If he stayed there he'd end his career in a low. The pissoff is that he's capable of podiums and 4th 5th on the right bike. Hopefully gets a decent GP ride but WSBK would be good too.

I agree. Ducati should have been begging Hayden to stay another year. I am hoping he lands on one of the other satellite bikes or one of the Yamaha engined lease bikes or a very sorted Honda production racer and shows Ducati his ass at every round next year.

It would be a blast if he could get one year on a really good bike and do just that.
