When Suppo talks pay attention. IMHO he is one of the smartest guys in the paddock.
He was the guy who put Casey on the Duc when no one wanted him, chose to use Bridgestones when everyone was happy with Michelin, realized Nicky was a good fit for Duc, had the good sense to leave Ducati for Honda before it was obvious Duc was a sinking ship and had a lot to do with Casey going to Honda.
He knows riders, is insightful and is always thinking a few years ahead. Let Stoner have some fast fun and keep telling him publicly it's out of the question for him to race again..... see what happens.

I've noticed that too and it is great to watch. It makes for good TV and great interviews.

Don't expect it to last forever.

Would be a mouthwatering idea, to see Stoner do a wildcard-ride one day. But even if HRC could arrange it, I don´t think they are willing to take the chance to mess up their two riders chasing the world title right now. So the title has to be decided first (...or actually second -- I for one have no idea, if Stoner has even considered racing on 2 wheels again!)

+1. Casey would be helping yamaha if he won and the title was not decided.

I have to say, that is beautiful. Grace, humility, and maybe I can still kick his butt or try too!

Character. Rossi has it. Sounds like he is very comfortable being where he is at in his career, and is just having fun (like he always has...).

From what I can tell, it might be that Marquez is becoming good friends with the people not directly competing with him, ie Cal and Valentino. A lot of joking around when Mark is near the other two.

This might do a 180 if Cal or Valentino manage to move up the standings though...

The greatest thing Stoner has done for MotoGP is to make room for Marquez.

Thats a bold statement.

But I gotta say I've really enjoyed watching MM on a competitive machine. Much more fun than watching Moaner on a honda.

Now if we could get Stoner to take a stab at piloting that red turnip truck... that would be interesting.
