I'm sure the 'after' picture is from after.
As for the scooter shot, that's just part of learning a new track, and checking out stuff.

Stoners a wet blanket. I wonder if he will ever realize that a lot of his problems with MotoGP were his own.

Hey Drif; thanks for those pictures. That swept pavement area was surely a safety measure. Any bike crashing on the downslope would cross the track again lower, as would the fallen rider. I am sure it was an attempt to reduce the chances of a tragedy that Rossi probably exposed with his hair raising pass of Casey in 2008.

That nobody else tried it says something about Rossi and MM I think. More will try it I suspect.

I heard $1.5M/year.

Dovi is supposed to be on $5M over two years.

Capirex used to demand $1M/year, after taxes.

The live announcing and commentary at the track was a pitifull insult.
Was wondering why they couldn't just pipe in Nick Harris and Gavin, they were sitting right there!

Another bold prediction.

Bradl will outscore Crutchlow next year. Bradl will do that for less money too. Ducati should sign Bradl now without waiting for Cal. Bradl will bring more synergy to the Audi owned team. As much as I enjoy Cal's personality, Bradl has an approachable, earthy, the guy next door kind of personality that I really like. He has the most experience racing against Marquez. Like Dovi, like the future of Ducati, he is a bit under appreciated.
Ducati should strike while the iron is hot, while everybody is discounting Bradl's recent podium as a one off event.

2013 looks like it will be the zenith for Crutchlow's point scoring career. Sure he will make more money in his next contract but I don't see the points going with him. He's been gifted many points this season due to alien DNF's and injuries. Seeing Cal go to Ducati just doesn't sit well with me. He deserves a good bike right now, while the championship is tight.
Next year is too late.

So CS will now just hop back on an RCV, and beat DP & MM? OK, in Phillip Island, MAYBE.

But HRC are not stupid, they want to clinch the rider´s championship, before they´ll let one guy satisfy his personal ambitions (and possibly do harm to that first goal in the process).

Last year, while Rossi was still at Ducati, Nicky has been there. A couple newspapers reported that he was cycling on the adriatic coast in Italy and went to Tavullia, so he passed by the "ranch" but the keeper didn't recognize him and didn't let him in. It took one of Rossi's friend to let him enter...

Gotta love the new mood around the paddock. Racing should be fun and not worrying about being arrested.

Welcome to the world of media manipulation. Take two unrelated photos, and put them together to create a suggestion. It's all over the news media, if you look for it.

I think they are getting confused. I suspect it is about half that.

$5M a year? Damn, that's 8 ppg 9th man money. While a lot in real world terms, it doesn't seem quite equitable from a risk/reward pov.

I was thinking 5M Quid seemed a lot for who/what's going on.
So if it's maybe 2.5- 3M $$ from Ducati, I assume there's more coming from sponsors?

Well ErikY. would be happy to race for 8th place for the $$, but I didn't think Cal Crutchlow would
