Big paycheck for two seasons maybe but his stock is almost certain to fall over that two year period, he'd be better off staying put imho. I was really hoping for a move to Gresini or LCR to see what he could do on an RCV.
The gist of many stories I've read is;#1 Cal has no ride in tech3 next year. #2 He doesn't want anything other then a factory ride. Now if Bradl (has) signed he(Cal) has no other option other then the truck...or another series...imo he's nearly in the same boat as Nicky...he needs to go to the DucAudi...is what I'm thinkin...

Unless they have really changed their tune Ducati riders are paid from their Marlboro Sponsorship in MotoGP and whoever is their primary sponsor in SBK.

Unless the Marlboro sponsorship disappears, which appears may be likely.

I believe it was Brian Drebber. He is a real motorcycle racing aficionado, but he can be a bot bumbling as an announcer IMHO.

The most painful thing I ever heard him say while announcing was that the racers were dressed in their "leather costumes" prior to the start of the race.

That was years ago and I still don't know where to begin....

Cal has an offer to stay at Tech 3. It is for more money than this year, but not at Factory levels and he wants a clause to replace Valentino at the end of next season, and he wants a Factory spec bike in the meantime.

Same with the LCR deal; he wanted a clause to move into the Repsol Factory team at the end of next season.

It is one thing to demand such things. It is another to receive them.

If anyone thought he was likely to regularly beat Lorenzo and Pedrosa and Marquez and challenge for the World Championship, they would be lined up to sign him and they would be bringing sacks full of $$$ with them.

Yeah, as I understand it Yamaha/Tech 3 made Cal an offer of (a one year?) deal but wouldn't guarantee a move to a full factory ride for 2015 so he turned them down. As you say, if Bradl has in fact re signed with HRC then Ducati would be the only remaining move. Cal did say that he was speaking to five teams though so there may well be more going on than it first appears.

Well, you can say it like that or we can continue on for another 6 or 7 pages to present the same conclusion in a less precise manner with a lot of nonsense mixed in.

I don't think he has turned anyone down, yet. And Bradl is not re-signed, yet.

Someone with an ax to grind informed me today that Bradl had been signed.

That's the problem right there. I know they have a dog in that fight. Should I believe them?

Non stop, please make it go away, al least he was drowned out by the bikes

@Alex__Briggs: Track side commentators: "This track is a series of corners connected by straightaways"......Amazing!

@ianwheeler: @Alex__Briggs Years of media training, right there!

@motogp_tomohan: @Alex__Briggs Just had a look at the track map, his story checks out :)

I think most expect it to be done, so there is probably a good likelihood.

You have mentioned before, when something does actually happen, it doesn't stay a secret very long.
