Maybe Cal believes he has the skills to tame the TT. Maybe he should only make a one year deal with Duc, then after taking the title next year on it, he could suck VW dry for a new contract.
He does have an agressive style, maybe he could ride it.

I doubt highly that he is even remotely under that impression, I think its been thoroughly proven that Stoner was the only rider that could ride the Desmocidici fast, and the last two years he was win it or bin it nearly every race.

No but if the Hondas and Yamahas had to race with maybe 20 or 30 kilos in their milk crates- the Ducatis might have half a chance.
