Look, if wishes could come true and all that, we would have a grid with guys like KR JR, Stoner, Marquez, Rossi, Doohan...etc...and life would be kick ass, but that doesn't mean I can't dream....right?

I am disappointed about the Aprilia deal, but the Honda is probably better. Bring it on!

For sure! That's why we get all excited when any of them do something.

I love them for what they do on a track, not for their personalities. CS will always be in my top ten just for that.

Ok, there is dreaming and then there is complete fantasy land LOL

I would love to see Casey, and Marquez for that matter, on two strokes.

Of all time!? Wikipedia has him at #32. He only won 2 championships. Yeah he was great to watch but he didn't leave much of a legacy. Quit too soon to make much of an impact really.
And at 27 years old he's coming out with an autobiography Oct. 22. I guess it really is the end of his career.

Here's a sample. If you're into that kind of thing.

Agree, but I can't see it happening.

After the 3rd press conference where he's repeatedly asked why he retired and then decided to un-retire, he'd re-retire before the end of his first season back.

I think he'd do it differently if he could, but the ignominy of coming back would be too much.

Perhaps you misread. I took it to mean that Casey is in his top five favorite racers. I don't think he said top five greatest.

How can you be so sure this time, even with Suppo's denials?

The joke is, when a denial is issued, it must certainly be true. We just saw it with Gigi Dall'Igna and Ducati. Both denied ever having spoken, but by and by, it was more than true.
I have spent a lot of time chasing the story of a possible return by Stoner. Whenever I speak to people who know Stoner personally, they say 'no way'.

Now, undoubtedly, there are a lot of people who would like to see Stoner make a return. Unfortunately, I believe that Casey Stoner is absolutely not among those people.

I agree. I think there is more chance he may come back in 2015 after a year off. But even than isn't likely.

I am/was just playing devil's advocate and stirring pots.
