Oh and how are the leaves up north, heading to RI this weekend and going to head up your way for some photography.
Should be interesting for Nicky.

We are in northern NH. and the leaves are just about done here. It should be better in mid-New England and places closer to the ocean. Have a good trip.

Let's not get too excited. The proddy Hondas will be great, but unlikely to put their riders on the podium. The current satellite spec bikes can't do that and they are one level above the proddy bikes - can't even do that.

Nicky is still going to be tootling round in 7th place - his only positive will be that he's beating the Ducatis.

The satellite Honda's can get on the podium just fine... Bradl and Bautista are the problem. Riders basically just taking up space, useless really...

That's debatable. If Pedrosa and Bradl switched bikes for the weekend, i'm not sure the results would be much different. Pedrosa would still be on the podium and Bradl would still be near it. Bradl and Bautista are just second tier aside the three Spanish aliens.

Gaah! One size fits all strikes again. No wonder no-one attempts a different kind of mousetrap.

Being an American I am pretty excited to hear Nicky is gonna be on a honda next year, and I'm hoping Mr. Edwards gets a yamaha. They won't be at the front but it should be a step up from their current rides.

I haven't been paying close enough attention to moto2 since the summer break so I've got a question:

What happened to Redding? He was doing great earlier this year and he has just slumped off as the season goes on.

As is Rossi, from just about all appearances this season.

Not a bad crowd to be in. Probably a few out there keen to be part of it.

That's the million dollar question. HRC satellite bike's in the hands of a killer would garner better results, I'm pretty sure of that. When it comes to midfielders and satellite bikes, most of those guys seemed destined for mediocrity compared to the better riders, who of course make their way to the top...

Bradl, Bautista, good riders, of course. But even on a factory ride, I doubt they'd be winners. They don't have the killer instinct, IMO of course... Yamaha has/had a better satellite rider in Crutchlow than Honda has currently in any of theirs...

Put it this way, Bautista and Bradl could be replaced by pretty much any qualified rider, and the results would be the same; The HRC satellite bike is what makes them finish behind the factory bikes in the 5,6,7,8 etc spots, not Bautista and Bradl.

If you are on the motoGP grid, you are doing something.

If you finish in the top 10, you are really doing something.

If you podium most weeks, you are a superstar.
