MVA's aren't that hard to find, especially since Ape's in SoCal. Provided they actually bring it into the US market in the first place.

Tell that...

...to my MV Agusta Dealer friend who had an F3 sold, cash in hand, and MV sent it to another dealer. His customer never got the bike he paid in full for.

MV is a joke.

All three happy owners out there can rejoice, the rest of us will suffer through beta testing a low volume Italian bike with little dealer support, parts supply, and warranty Hell.

Pretty? Yes. Real? Barely.

From what I hear, fuelling has pretty much broke the 675.

I live 20 min. from ProItalia - I could have any MV I want with excellent support and one of the best dealerships in the country. So there...

Joking aside, I must agree with you that MV is a "bold" choice unless live close to a good dealer, of which there are just... well, two. Love the bikes, but they are as temperamental as they come.

Still, have you HEARD the sound of a stock F4RR? One of these days I am going to be weak and buy one just so I can hear it any time I please...

Oh yeah, not only have I heard one....

...I've ridden one.

My favorite MV, however, is the Brutale 1090RR.

That bike is amazing. I was shocked at how wonderful that Brutale is. The sweetest handling bike you can imagine.

BUT........

Short of your zip code, I wouldn't touch one.

If I lived in LA or NYC, maybe.....but out here in flyover country owning anything from the Old Country is a leap of faith.

Trust me, I have a Ducati in the garage.

I do dig the MVs, really, but I will never own another Italian machine again.

When I decided I wanted a sport bike before I was too old to enjoy one, I found this RC51. She has been amazing, reliable, and hey, Honda beat Ducati with her.

As for the MVs, lovely, passionate machines, lust worthy machines, but no freaking way I'm dropping coin on one where I live. If I were in LA, sure.

Enjoy.

We endurance race against a team of "experts" who have been the Champions a number of times on their 06 GSXR1000. Twice this season they had to park their MV mid-race and bring out the backup GSXR to finish the race on. We have beaten them on our 13 yr old CBR 929 a few times, mostly because the MV breaks down alot. It is nuts fast, and sounds like sex, but I wouldn't want to be on a long trip away from civilization on one.
