Motorcycle Shippers Out Of Canada?

Greetings guys

Trying to find a shipper who will ship to New Zealand from say Vancouver, no local knowledge from me means I am not having much luck.

Do any of you guys have contacts, names, number etc?

Appreciate your help.

Looks like these guys do international shipping. I have used them twice. Once in the US and once in Canada........reliable and have tracking updates. Both times the bikes arrived on time................

Anyone that DOES NOT use SIRVA Inc. for any part of the shipment (previously known as Allied Worldwide/Allied Van Lines/North American Van Lines).

I'm suffering through 2 months of being bike-less in Ghana because the F@ck tards at Serva put my bike in the sea can with my F&E and never included it on the customs invoice.

Despite the fact it feels good SIRVA Inc. is out of pocket the substantial fines, it's a logistical nightmare to register an "illegally imported" motor vehicle in this country.

Better to go with a specialty shipper in motorcycles IMO.

Your best bet is to fly them to NZ.
Ride out to the freight terminal at vancouver airport (yvr)
and take your paperwork around to Air NZ, Quantas, or even Air Canada, etc, and get quotes right on the spot.
As you know they will charge you either for weight, OR volume , whichever is Greater, and they are considered dangerous goods so battery disconnected and fuel drained...(try and leave a little in there to get you to a gas station in NZ)
You do NOT need to crate them, they will put them on pallets. They must be spotlessly clean for NZ customs. This also includes any camping or personal gear being shipped in the panneirs.
We usually took our panniers as luggage with us and flew the bike alone (Cheaper).
Flying is Waaay better than sea freight and usually works out to be the same price in the long run.
It may also be better to run down to Seattle and fly them from there...

We used MID Forwarding to fly our bikes from Vancouver to Amsterdam.

They are located near the Vancouver airport at 4871 Miller Road suite 1143

We used them in 2003 so things may have changed but Bruno was a great help for us.
