Not sure who is "leading", but some of us are scheduled to ride the singletrack at byrd's on Thursday.

We'll be sure to clear all the banana peels off the trail first.

Not solid on my schedule yet, but it's possible that I could be free Thursday or Friday.
If there is a single track ride planned for Thursday, that's what I'll shoot for.
I could lead a ST ride about 10 miles from Byrd's, but I am not familiar with the Byrd's area single track.

Here's a taste of some of the tight stuff over the mountain. This is very recent, you can see that conditions are primo right now:

I did get to tag onto one of Boogn1sh's rides a couple of years ago when it was real wet and was riding my WR250R with the stock Trailwings. He took us right into a creek bed and the track crossed back and forth across the creek. See "youtube SLAP 2010 with "Riders on the Storm" playing in the background. Next time I ride in his group, I will have a 200 2-stroke like he does!

took one for the team.
I snuck off at 2:00 today and rode up to Oark just to make sure the hamburgers and pies are still tasty. two thumbs up ! Then drove around on Forest Service roads and up Beach Grove road. Got in a 100 miles and you can't see my license plate due to mud. A truly good day in the Ozarks.
The gnats were out in force in some locations, two thumbs down.
The trails were tacky with little to no dust. The Mulberry is still running high enough for water sports today. Felt bad for some of them kids, coundn't afford hardly any clothes.
Will bring out a trailer full of wood probably Thursday night. I will be in town next weekend after all. If I promise not to drink any beer or eat any food can I listen to some of the camp fire stories ?

Thanks for the firewood, bro. We'll cheers to you, I'm sure.

Now if only someone would rustle us up some hollow logs for ambiance.

He's a trailer queen these days, plus we're lucky to get him out of the house.
