I presume you are talking about coordinates for Byrds?
35.680568,-93.740791
or
35 40' 50.0448", -93 44' 26.8476"

You Okies have any rides planned? Are you planning on posting any GPS routes? Maybe I missed it but if you have a location to find and download routes let me know. Thanks.

I thought you had those all done, Tim!?
Post #1 (clipped below) left that task to us NWA boys.

Rides and Routes: There is a separate thread dedicated to route gathering, ride organization, and whatnot. It is the product of much attention by our fellow inmates in NW Arkansas. Click HERE for the stuff.

There is so much dirt in the area, I think people can be told to go "North, East or West on dirt or twisties, your choice" and they'll find a grand time. With 100+ riders, self-forming groups is the only way to fly, keeps numbers manageable.

A few of us will be riding the Byrd's Single Track on Thursday, then we are off to kill the Frog on Friday. Saturday has not been decided, gotta save something for big bike trials competition.

I am not sure about organized rides, it always seems that 4 or more groups collect and head out to parts unknown. I think most of the plans are formed Friday night.

Ehh just my $.02

Looks like I won't be attending, except maybe to ride down Thursday and see what is going on. The rest of SLAP I am for sure other wise engaged.

I may stop by Thursday and visit.

Looks like this is going to be a good one, hate to miss it when I am lucky enough to be off work, but wife and kids you know.

Oh, I see how it is! I have people PM'ing me saying they are going to ride my route. I didn't even know I had a route. I was planning on following this time around. It would be nice to know what to load up in the old GPS before I leave home. I guess I will just load a few gems and hope I get lucky!

Yeah, who knew you actually had to look at the date of the post.
@ O'leary if you wouldn't mind adding these gems to the SLAP routes thread...it would be nice to have a few loaded.

I've picked a few from the list but at this point I'm getting lost and I'm not even riding yet.

RE: GPS tracks

It didn't make sense to reinvent the wheel. The NWA guys have done a terrific and thorough job of assembling tracks in the linked thread.

There are no "OFFICIAL RIDES". You find your own friends/guides and ride at your own risk. Knowhatimeanvern?

As you can see the beer is more important to me than the ride.....

On a tour of the Coors plant ,our guide told us the only difference between 3.2 and normal was how it was measured.
One was by weight other was by volume, really no difference .
That what he told us!

I didnt believe it either!!

Guess you'll just remain in suspense. Just be grateful that beer is being provided.

Last minute luck

I think we may sneak by for a night or two. I'm pretty sure we'll just stay around Byrd's and ride the kid friendly trails on Friday and Saturday morning. Then off to the AHSCS race in Salem, AR for a Sunday obsession.

I know I missed the cut off, but put me down for two on the "monies for leftovers" program if there's room. We have a small pop up camper and can park anywhere.
