Anybody Need a SF Bay Area Roommate?

I know this isnt CL, but I thought "what the hell" it'd be cool to share a place with a like minded person. I need to move from where I am currently and I'm looking for either someone who has a place and is looking for a tennant, someone who is living in a place and is looking for a roommate, someone who is also looking for a new place to live that might want to get a place together, or some other such living arrangment.

I'm 39, originally from the East Coast, have a steady job working M-F/9-5, am pretty chill, like to ride the KLR650, fix the KLR650 (or VW), have a few beers while looking at maps and lurking around here. You know, fun stuff.

I work in San Rafael and would like to be within a 30-45 minute drive if at all possible.

I worked on and off in Cal. some years back in winter months.

We had some contacts to meet in San Rafael. Nice area. We are sitting in a gas station, and my sidekick from work at the time is in the driver's seat of the van. I saw a little silver BMW sedan pull in. A guy gets out, swipes his credit card and starts pumping gas. I said "hey, that's Carlos Santana" right there.

My sidekick says "really? where? who's that" ?

I said, "he was at Woodstock!" and was so high he thought his guitar was a snake......

So we get Mr. Santana's attention and he walks over and sticks his head in our van window and was the coolest guy. He chatted with us for several minutes, he lives in San Rafael. He had a driver with him, but Carlos got out and paid. Great day it was.
