So I still have room for a couple more riders n the Emigrant Trails Ride. July, 26, 27, 28, 29. single riders are OK. Here's a link for more info, http://www.ironmandualsport.com/Rider_Club.php

Emigrant Trails Ride
This is the kind of ride you hear story's about, see pictures and read articles in magazines about. Epic adventures and the best riding in the world. Well here’s your chance, a ride you’ll talk about for the rest of your life. 4 days of hard riding and unbelievable scenery and exploration. The Ride starts and ends in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Portola, CA. Makes a 4 day loop thru the Sierras, North Western Nevada and into Southern Oregon. There is a limit of only 12 riders on this ride, we travel to some very remote locations and for Saturday night, that’s all the rooms in town. You must be an experienced rider able to ride any terrain and capable of riding 150-200 miles a day in the dirt. Fix flat tires and make any trailside repairs to your bike, you must be willing to carry extra fuel on your bike. There are absolutely no single riders on this ride. Included in the ride is 3 nights motel booked double occupancy, in some of Nevada’s best 1 star motels. A support truck and trailer with tools, bike lift, tire changing equipment, etc, which will also carry your gear bags to each night’s location.
Emigrant Trails Ride, sign up ASAP, 12 Rider Limit

The enthusiasm from you So. Cal. guys is Great!!

I'm always amazed at how much water there is in the desert in early summer.

You can still see the ruts from the wagon wheels of pioneers on there way to Oregon in the mid 1800s

on this section of the Applegate Trail.

And I can't even count how many old mines, ranches, and homesteads we explore.

On the second day of both rides near the end of our day we visit the site of the

B-24D Crash site in Southern Oregon. On February 9th 1945 the 11 member crew left Gowen Field

Near Boise Idaho for a Training mission to Hamilton Field in California. The plane crashed on the

rocky peaks at about 10:00 pm that night all crewmen were lost

Well so there's a little more about the rides I'll post a little more later
.
Thanks Bob

Wow! can't believe it's been almost 2 years exactly since I posted on this thread. I guess I'll start by posting the rest of this years schedule.

Plumas Circumnavigator, July 11th, 12th
We've been doing this ride for the past 6 years as a 3 day ride but it's a little hard for guys get the time off work for that. So this year we've taken some of the best sections of the ride plus some new stuff and made it into a 2 day ride. Plus probably some of the best "A" single track you'll ever ride. Average elevation of this ride is 5000'

[IMG][/IMG]

Ironman Speacial, July 25th

So this is a 1 day 250 mile challenge. VERY EXPERIENCED RIDERS ONLY! We start in the mountains East of Portola, CA. and ride a 250 mile loop to Gerlach NV. and back. All off road, single track through the woods, sand washes, dry lakes, rocky stream beds, you name it.

[IMG][/IMG]

Red Mountain 350, August 1st, 2nd

This is named for the Red Mountain Jeep Rd. one of my kids favorite places to ride when they were young, Anyway another great 2 day Dual Sport. We stage on private property East of Oroville, CA. with an overnight destination of Chester, CA. on Lake Almanor. A, B, and C tracks, expert to beginner, average elevation of this ride is also 5000'.

[IMG][/IMG]

Well, that's all for now. Hope everyone has a great 4th of July!

For more information about Ironman Dual Sport checkout our website here. Thanks, Bob
