I really like the look of the Forma Adventures, the only thing that puts me off is the bonded sole. Unless I'm mistaken, bonded soles can't be replaced, and if I'm going to be dropping $300 on a pair of shoes, I want them to be fixable. Especially when you take into account the amount of wear the off road pegs will impart onto the soles.

I just bought these puppies after a whole lot of hemming and hawing.

I ride my F800GS probably about 50/50 with some upcoming long multiday stretches of 100 offroad. I needed a couple things. One waterproof. Two comfortable for the long haul. Three good protection.

These seemed to fit the bill. They seem very comfortable for riding all day then walking around in. They don't provide nearly as much protection as my Gaerne SG10 boots (which are fuggin' awesome), but they are significantly more touring friendly, albeit a lot less bad ass looking.

Anyone who claims these boots are stiff must be riding primarily in street boots or regular shoes. If you are used to dirt boots, these things will feel pretty flexy, but still with a decent amount of torsional stiffness.

Size is true to size. I wear 9-9.5 shoes very consistently and I ordered the 43. Fits perfect. I almost ordered the 42's. Really glad I didn't. For reference, my Gaerne's are 43. I have a pair of Alpinestars Tech 8's in 42 and they are slightly too small.
