Kauai Dualsport rentals??

Anyone know of any dualsport rentals on Kauai??

I rented a scooter while I was there, and I know that Harley rents bikes, but I do not know of any dual sports for rent.

I am going to stayed tuned into this thread because I would like to know if there are any dualsport rentals there aswell.

I am in the middle of a trip to Kauai right now. i rented a Buell Ulysseys xb12xt. not the ideal dual sport but it has definitely gotten the job done. Took some getting used to for sure, the hefty weight and the height especially. I rode to Waimea canyon today and it was absolutely stunning. no traffic on the road up to the canyon, wide open, twisty roads the whole way. there were some fire road trails off the main road but i did not investigate. Anyway, if you are hard up for a dual sport bike in Kauai, i highly recommend Kauai Harley Davidson. http://www.kauaiharley-davidson.com/

i live in kilauea, kauai...no good rentals at present..two wheels had rentals but ended up costing too much on repairs...not using klrs!...i am bringing over a couple from mainland for rental soon...in mexico at present setting up tours google mexride

I see this thread is ancient.....but I'm hoping something has sprung up over the years. I'll be in Kauai June 2013 and would like to see the island by DS.

very cool!!! i was living in GTO last summer up on the panoramica and then Sayulita last winter. we visted SMA alot and expecially La Gruta hot springs. i found some great dirt road loops off of the GTO-DH road. have you ridden the Royal Road up that way yet?

DR650 would also make solid rental bikes and have even less costs over time than KLRs
