I saw a Royal Purple Max Cycle full-synthetic oil in Advance Auto Parts the other day that meets the exact JASO MA rating for the 990 ADV. Haven't tried it yet, though. Has anyone else tested it yet?

I ran it for about a year in my 07 950 SE. I didn't really notice any changes in my shifting or anything else. At the time, I could only get Royal Purple Max Cycle on line so now I use Mobil 1 Racing 4T oil in all my bikes and I buy it at WalMart.

I was offered a very good deal by Motorex race support, so I now have my next ten oil changes on the shelf.

I'm sure not going to give them any podium ad space, so I better at least thank them here! So far, all my parts seem to be slipping around nice and happy!

I just filled mine with Bel-Ray 10w50 . Because it's family owned & made in USA .

We shall see . If it don't work out I'll buy stock on Rotella and be done with with the expensive crap
