Now I just need to re-read the appropriate threads and get motivated to do the mod. Thanks Dan

So what did I do... I tightend the chain, cleaned it and lubed it. After my 600km ride yesterday I saw that my bar risers weren't straight so I solved that problem too. Oh and I mounted that TT guard for the break flued.

Today, I ordered a couple more yards of CF, finished the vacuum chamber, finished setting up my wheel balancer/truing stand (garage gansta style), cut out some CF pieces for the mudguard I will make tomorrow night, sanded down my first mudguard, caught a mouse in a bottle, then let him go, wrapped some presents, and now I am back outside to make a home made spoke wrench.

Guess what?
Just started two challenges: a new adventure ride from northeast Brasil all the way to Atacama Desert and back; AND a live ride report (http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...2#post20264892)

Last week, fed up of my car's poor carrying capacity and cleaning pine needles/sap off the upholstery, I decided to carry my Christmas tree on the back of my GS. Lashing it down across the top of my vario panniers in the expanded position, using a pair of rocks straps, it was fine. I have video.

Installed and Akropovic Muffler and Xchallenge cartridges with Ohlins 55g springs and 7.5 weight oil at the Ohlins recommended 60mm air gap, crazy windy today (30-40mph gusts) so no chance I'm riding it but the initial around the block a few times ride looks promising, much less dive then the Hyperpro springs it was replacing. can't wait until Monday to hit my usual trails to see how it handles
