Calm down, ladies
It's just a poll to see what people choose and what seems to be the most popular option. No need to get your panties in a twist before it even starts

I've been static balancing my wheels (sans tires) and throwing tires on them since 1972, never had a vibration/balance issue except for a few that were way out of round. |

What is ride on?
Is it what I do, put the tire on the rim and ride on it? I've never balanced a bike tire. I wonder if that's why I keep falling down. I balance the tires on my Chevy cobalt, everything else I mount the tires myself and just run them like that.

I've had Dyna beads in my kenda big blocks for about 4k miles they ride smooth as silk at high speeds, 80-100mph. Love Dyna beads

Question
Any thoughts on tires losing balance during sudden acceleration or deceleration while using dynabeads. Always been something I've been curious about, as a sudden change in speed would move where the beads are inside the tire

Well, every time you start and stop rolling, the dynabeads move. So they are never in the same place.
But you must remember they have been imbued with magical powers before they are sold to you. So by the ancient ways, they find the light spot in the tire and congregate there immediately to provide perfect dynamic balancing at all times.

I've not balanced a bike wheel in decades, never had a problem. I just mounted new tires on a 13 Ninja 300 and left the stock weights, forget that! I pulled the weights and far better but it'll now headshake on decel and vibrates like crazy over 75 MPH. It was the smoothest bike I've had in near ten years before the tire swap, now my hands are going numb in 15 minutes of riding.
I just ordered the dyna beads, this bike is so smooth the effects, or lack thereof should be obvious immediately. I'll report back when they get here. |

, but I'm considering giving Dynabeads a shot. I tried Ride On before, meh. Then again my tires were kind of shitty anyway. MotorradMike Have you got a goose that lays golden eggs, I'll settle for one of those. A new bike would be nice too
