Got Lippencott?

Joel,

Thinking I may lead a small group down Hunter Mtn, Teakettle, Lippencott, Naked Spa and back Friday am. for those interested, the pace will be 'brisk', skill level, 'moderate'. We'll meet early at the gas station. No sign up, simply bring next-of-kin contact info when you come.. Three liters of water minimum!

just figure out it's a 150 mile round trip. it is going to be a long day. plan on 10 hours. leave around 7 am and back before dinner time. friday will be your best bet, so in case you get stuck, you don't miss the raffles and awards...

a good rider with gps skill can lead the group. come on now folks, the first noob rally we only had 1 gps, most are dv virgins and almost all were noobies. you guys can do it. damit, where's macadamia?

thanks tt, i'll reserve anyway.

Thumb Swagman strikes again!

Thanks to Keith, Kevin, Craig, and the crew at Carson Motorsports/KTM
for providing Gift Certificates and goodies for the Noobs event.

CMS is one of the largest and bestest (yeah, Google it...) KTM Adventure Moto dealers in Northwestern Nevada.

They can be found at www.carsonktm.com, and deserve your business!

They will be doubling the size of the dealership soon to make room for the new 990 Baja, and the full line of KTM road bikes..

hahaha prancing starts before the hot springs....

last year we were still miles away from the hot springs, then saw a truck parked on the side. as i slowed down to pass, the driver got off the truck and peek-a-boooo....dammmm....

we're still looking for volunteers to haul firewood. please post up or PM me.

bob @ 150 on thursday night dinner fund raising for the SOS.

burger, cheese and chili beans.

in the past, people get 2nds and that's fine, but.......

maybe cooked 200 burgers and patties. 1st one is free, next is $ donation to SOS.

we need to raise at least $500, which includes the left over $ from D1.

in the past years, i bought the meat, chili, cookies, condiments, etc. from cosco and smart&final. i will leave everything with you, just PM me how much $ you need.

meantime, i will work on the fri and sat dinner with the help of other or same volunteers.

thanks bob.

Practice.
Figure if I can survive in the mean time with street tires then I may actually have a chance staying upright in harder stuff with tkc's.

Swagman, the final solution...

And the swag just keeps on coming!

How about three gift certificates @ $50.00 each from our local manufacturer of protective accessories... TECH SPEC! These guys were a Major Sponsor at the Lake Tahoe Adventure Rally and Rendevous last year hosting none other than the legendary Dick Mann and Jimmy Lewis at the Mont Bleu on Saturday night.

Check them out at: www.techspec-usa.com

(I'm betting there will be some of you that will wish you had their product on your bikes, before the weekend...)
Jus' sayin'
