It's on you FF. Actually, I may be trading the sportster for a KLX650 that I will feel a little less guilty about beating the crap out of.

Maybe I'll just put knobbies and mx bars on the Sporty and bring it. In a case like this you have to ask yourself "what would RTWDOUG do?"

G Rides

Question about the group rides, honestly never a big fan of LARGE groups, prefer smaller size. What are the number of riders in the group rides that are organized? Are the non NOOB dirt rides smaller & advanced? Are we not just able to form our own group & go?

The group rides are listed here:
http://dvrides.robgadv.com/

The number of riders is up to the leader, as is the experience level of the leader. There's no requirement to join a group to go riding, but at least find a riding partner for the off chance that you need some help.

See you in Death Valley!

Of course you are.

The group rides were established so that peeps didn't have to arrive there and figure out where and whom they might ride with. There are a LOT of new riders coming out for this and that's what makes it the premier noob ride event.

I think most of us that are leading rides will be further splitting them down into smaller groups, and at least making sure everybody has a buddy/partner they are responsible for. That way no one gets lost or left behind. 6-8 is kind of a medium good size for a group, for some easier treks some groups will be larger.

depending on your height and weight, he can change the foam to accomodate a lighter or heavier rider. i put on the carbon fiber vinyl it looks very good and wears well.

Just what I was looking for to get a reference point of all the destinations linked together. Thanks so much for this!

Yeah- As of now I'm planning to be at the hot springs from Thursday Mid day thru Saturday mid day, then return to PSR fro the night, baring anyone not needing any rescues with my truck.

I will be selling gas out there and possibly cold refreshing beverages.
prices- I don't know yet. probably $6-8/ a gallon of 87 octane.
$1 bottle water,

cold beers? $2-3 12 oz cans.

I will have my HAM radio( F6) too- any other HAM radio geeks out there???

I will know by March 20th if I'm going FOR SURE!

cheers,

Pablo
