I posted earlier about being willing to pick up DV Park Passes for anyone coming in on thursday or friday, since Nancy and I will be riding to the area Monday night and it's no problem stopping at the kiosk on our way to PVR on thursday. I'm already picking up a few for people.

This is targeted at folks who will be coming in from the west then going on a group ride the very next day and wont be able to get one easily. The rest of you FF's can pick one up yourself!

The passes are $10 and good for ONE motorcycle for 7 days. We will be in camp Thursday afternoon, spot #18, though we'll be going on the Lookout Sunset ride after we drop our bags and unpack.

If you'd like me to pick you up a pass you can paypal me the $10, please put your name, adv handle, bike, and campspot in the paypal message when sending. You'll need to come get your passes from me, I just want to know who's got one coming for my list.

Paypal email:

Ducks all over my GPS

I downloaded the tracks from DSM8 to my little Magellan Explorist 310 and checked them out. No chance of getting them confused with other waypoints.

Most are marked with DUCK CROSSING SIGNS!!!

You can get passes in stovepipe wells, at the Grapevine kiosk near Scottys Castle, and Furnace Creek at the Ranger station/welcome center. Since you're heading out tomorrow you should have time to grab one.

More info and a park map can be found here:

Got it!

We're in site #18.

Again, I mean for this service to help folks that won't be easily able to get a pass, i.e; coming in late then going on a group ride the next day that either the rider leader doesn't want to stop for 10 minutes at Stovepipe Wells, or on rides like up Saline Valley and into the park where there will be no place to buy them. If folks are going to be going by one of the spots to get one, then you can grab it yourself you lazy FF's.
Save the receipt as per joel to qualify you for some of the raffle prizes! (did I get that right joel? I remember seeing something like that posted in this mega thread.

Cutoff time will be MONDAY night the 25th, once we leave home we will be doing our best to Get Lost and not checking emails...

BTW, if possible sent the cash as a Gift so I don't have to cover the PP fee's. No biggie, but it will add up.
