Haven't been following this forum much, but I reread the beginning and last week or so of posts. I'm really impressed with the quantity of raffle items. Gonna take all night just to hand stuff out haha. I've got some last minute bike prep on my DR650, NP pass to buy, and then I'll be rolling up Thursday with Afry and Todd W.(not sure of username).

Last day of work is Wed(blasted sequestration) and then the ADVenture begins. Never ridden Death Valley and really looking forward to this as well as that keg of Torpedo!

ohhh you want the shift lever - as in the one on the left side of the engine not on the handlebars. just to clarify. As in bike falls over and tweaks the lever so it makes a clicking sound when you shift from the bent lever. if you are careful you can bend it back...

Seems to me there is room at the far end of an RV site for a tent or two. Peeps are welcome at site 8 to check it out.

Oh, and on the Tiger 800XC shift lever....Mine will be sitting in the garage...I'm happy to pull it off and bring it to lend. Just gotta let us know. You have lots of options.

skivvies? brung it.
Actually the bulletin board was joel's idea... when i mentioned that i was bringing a sheet of plywood for the top of the bar ( and nailing togehter 2x4 legs).

i had some clothes pins that i picked up at .99 store and went out and got 100' of 550 paracord....
Still need index cards... I might have a bunch of old ones in the door pocket of my truck. I haven't looked in three years, but i think i have about 60.

if there is room on the clothes line you can hang your 'dwear.

Plenty, so bring enough cash...

They are a little pricy but consider the location, and no I actually dont know how much they cost each one has a diff price depending on what it is.

Laugh riding in from Orange County Thursday

Any Orange County or LA/Riverside riders want to ride together?
I was planning on leaving east Orange County around 8am on Thursday.
I'm a newer rider and this is my first "big" trip. I probably ride slow for some of you and will have to stop for fuel near Victorville and Ridgecrest but if you're not in a rush to get out to DV, PM me.

Accurate guess young TheGrinch but I'll bet you 2 beers that it will last 21 minutes and 47 seconds

Give or take 15 minutes
