Red05 and I are meeting at 0800 Thursday am to ride the loop. jkstehn and NSFW also showed interest. If anybody who has first hand experience wants to step up and post the group ride AND be a leader that would be great, otherwise anybody who wants to stumble along, blind leading the blind, that's cool too.

scott, i may not be able to leave that early.

thursday morning, i and others still have to set up the registration and site #46/47 party central.

good chance i can ride after 9:30. anyone coming in around 9, let's hook up and ride saline valley or mengel. meet me at site #49 (gas up if you have the time).

those who haven't done the big loop, psr-ballarat-goler-mengel-butte valley- furnace creek-psr, you gotta do it.

Made it to Pahrump - Jimmy Lewis course tomorrow then I plan on driving over to Panamint. If I'm too tired to set up my tent when I get there is there someone I can bunk with I tried to get a tent cabin for Wed night but no dice.

keep on watching the vid. you'll get it eventually.

i remember my first time...over an hour. it takes several tire changes before you become good at it (30 minutes).

jimmy lewis will do a demo of a tire change on thursday afternoon before dinner. everyone is welcome to watch and ask questions.

Thanks Joel. I'm good for tenting, I was just joking since I figure I'll be thrashed after the course and I probably won't pull into Panamint until 7 or 8.

I "should" be headed through Pahrump by 6 or 7 tomorrow evening. Give me a call if you're still there at that time and we can ride over together.

I just finished installing TKC80's on my GS front and rear and it was much easier than I thought. Take your time and you'll get it. BTW, what are you having problems with?

Grumble grumble still in Torrance!

Work keeps getting in the way. I'm still planning on finishing loading and hitting the road tonight to drive as far North as I can before pulling over and sleeping. In the morning I get to do some *more* work before continuing the drive.

Yay for being overworked.
