Ha, as entertaining as that sounds around the camp fire, they don't sit well on the back of a bike!
I have enough skins laying around the house that i could make a really good bag for snow camping...as long as i kept it dry!

Still toying with this camp idea, the link to the NWRider site sounds somewhat organized...been doing it 17 years!

Nope,if it was me in there...it wasn't my Ford, not that kind of guy . I rode to Joes tech day in Sandy at the barn. Had my young son on the bike with me. Is that the one you're thinking of? Or was it Barb's in Gresham, a year ago?

So about the deep fryer, are you cookin a few birds at this camp? Right now the most rewarding things about this camp...other than getting my bike & self home in one piece, would be the deep fried duck, campfire shananigans, & the experience of sleeping to the silence of soft snow falling.Hopefully all whilst still being able to feel my outer most extremities!

I'll provide the fryer if someone has meat for it. Like a turkey.

I went to this a couple of years ago and had a blast. I just found out it was this weekend and I am going to Ellensburg for the Brewfest with my brother on Saturday but if I don't have too much brew, thinking about jumping on my bike and riding over Sunday.

Best,
Tracy

Frikken carispy this weekend in the woods where i live , hard enough keeping on the road in the suv, let alone on a bike. I will have to see how the weather is this week.

I like extreme endurances, but this might just be a little crazy even for me!

It's been pretty chilly up this way too. Temperatures look to be in the teens all week, and who knows, there might not be any snow

Never can tell about these things, after all...

Come play - or stay home on the porch... It's all good.

Due to bald tires and no crash armor on the GSX.. I think I will be bringing the cage... besides, fold down the seats and it becomes a nice place to sleep, too

I wonder if I should try to bring some firewood.. There is some big heavy old stuff at my work that is in a big pile..

I'll bring a turkey (NOT frozen! for who ever brings a deep fryer.
Will show up Saturday, and stay til Monday. Used to be Sunday night was also a great night to just hang out, alas a smaller crowd. Heard Wayne and Joe Rodgers will be there on Saturday as well.
Temps look not too bad, compared to what's been going down of late.
Moxiegirl, do try to make it.
Austin, dude, sorry to hear about your roo', and tools.
Driving, but will bring at least some firewood. Unless I do ride...
