Happy Thanksgiving! (And a visual representation of how I helped)
First, Happy Thanksgiving!
Secondly, I was more than happy to run to the store for my family who apparently had run a bit low on flour. The store is 5 minutes away. So ... 45 minutes later, I return with a 5 pound bag of flour. Please note that it was strapped to the back of the Dobber. Also note that I jumped the curb behind the silver sedan, ran across the yard, jumped the curb there, and then proceeded to cross the street and run up the driveway. But ... you could have probably figured out that yourself. PS - The bag upon delivery was about 3 pounds.

GPS. Grain Pathfinding System
Save a chicken bone, Hansel, to convince the old hagwitch you and your airhead friend Gretel aren't yet ready for the feast. And don't count on that flour trail to get you home. Nice idea but not quite a GPS.
Those poor poor people. |

All too funny
![]() On the bright side, at least they did not send you out for paint.... The flower will wash away as soon as it rains. But until then rejoice in being the man who figured out a shorter way home

Thanksgiving Rescue
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY.
Found this on craigslist. Hasn't run in 4 or so years. R75/7. Tank cover, Browns side stand, electronic Ignition, new starter. 50k on the clock. Tank may be salvageable, currently brewing up vinegar stew in it. Had to give it a home. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() M |

Under 1,000. Supposedly it's a European model, I'll check the VIN. Not sure what happened to the outside of the tank but the paint is bubbled up all over.

This is why I laugh at the mpg question!
15 min errand? See you in an hour & a half. Video store we used once was 10 miles roundtrip; never took me less than 100! Happy T-day!

score! Good luck with the tank, you could try tumbling it with small pebbles in it then work up to finer material. I am a lacquer spray can maniac. If you were close to Long Island I would spray it for the price of the paint.

Wow, that's pretty bad. You'll need something strong then vinaigrette. Get yerself some phosphoric acid and a hand full of bolts and give it a shake every day, several times. The acid does wonders for rusted parts. My tank came out like new.

Actually vinegar works pretty well. It just needs more time than phosphoric acid, but it works just as well the times I've used it and has the added bonus of not burning your skin when you spill it on yourself, which I always manage to do.
