Question headlight lens replace or repair!

hello everyone! I recently dropped my 2007 adventure in the dirt and the headlight glass and lens behind the glass broke. I found a replacement glass on ebay for about $150. I don't know where I can find a headlight lens though. Bike bandit has a complete headlight assembly for about $500. Does anyone have any ideas? I searched the bone yard and came up with nothing. basically the reflective surface inside the headlight is cracked and in pieces, I don't think that gluing it back together is a good option but I really don't know what my options are. Thanks for any help :-)

A used whole unit is your best bet. Did you contact BBY, or just check the site? Mike often has stuff not on his site because it sells fast. He can also put you on a waiting list.

The one on e-bay looks OK, but doesn't help if your reflector is broken. Maybe you can find one without a cracked reflector and add the e-bay lens. Also look at the flea market here.

Check out the what have you done to your gs today thread.

That hid with the lense built in would make your reflector obselete.

Then you can glue your reflector back together, but it will only be there for cosmetic reasons.

I would look on european ebay. They have more GS parts over there. You will get one benefit, which will help to justify the cost- the E-code beam, which is superior to DOT. Just don't buy a headlight from GB or any other left side driving country.
