Up a Lazy River

While thinking about mowing the lawn on sunday, I thought..Nah! I'd rather be riding.
So, headed down to Horsham for a catchup lunch. Then it was to be either a 1.2 hr slab ride home , or, the road less travelled...
I fired up the garmin62 and found some potential tracks leading north along the Wimmera River from Polkemmet bridge toward Wail State Forest
At the bridge I checked the tracks, you bewdy these look we go!

A bit snaggy for fishing

This looks better

Good spot with a fire and a few beers..

Some single wound through the trees

A steep drop down to the rivers edge

Several of these spots along here

By now it was well into roo O'clock so made for Dimboola, checked out Lochiel bridge area and found a few extra tracks to suss out, then home the back way.
