Replacing Exhaust Graphite Ring

About to replace to Graphite Ring that seals the mid pipe section (distributing pipe in parts list) and the engine exhaust pipes.

Thinking some kind of lubricant may help it all slip together easier, but not sure what to use first thing that comes to mind is grapgite powder or Silicone spray ???

anyone have any tips or suggestions that may make it a bit easier ?

I would use black silacone. It will seal any gaps too :)

Do NOT use a 2x4 and a 2lb sledge!!

Let's just say I had to order a couple of new graphite rings.

What was I thinking??

well I ended up using Graphite powder on all mating metal parts, after "spreading" outer pipe flange with a 47mm tapered dolly, worked a treat

You will not notice it at first..but it starts with a few innocent KTM stickers,.progresses to a KTM key ring, to KTM coffee mug and next thing you know, you have gone completely mad and start wearing orange tee shirts.It is a very bad infection..is this yeast infection (Bronx)
