Ben, I have a friend who lives near me who is a Regional Sales Manager for a large motorcycle parts company. (can't tell anyone who he works for) Anyway. He has always donated some bling bling to the Central ADV Rally in the years I have attended. I talked to him yesterday and he said he will do the same for WestFest. So I am gonna hook up with him in a week or so and go through his stash. I will let you know what I get! I have no idea what I'll get but it will be something!

Ben-

You have done a great job getting things organized this year and have a jaw dropping amount of "loot" for drawings. Perhaps you should sellect some of the juicer items and do a silent auction specifically to raise some additional funds for COHVCO.

Wish I could make it this year as I had a blast at WestFest last year. Unfortunately it looks like RMAR is all I can pull off this summer.

Best wishes to all,

George thanks for the suggestion and we considered that but I would not feel right because all the vendors were told it was a raffle.

Have fun at rmar!!

Rocket Moto

Adam and Rocket Moto have donated a couple of GREAT prizes for Westfest this year!!!

Adam was really generous and hooked us up with a Giant Loop Great Basin Saddle Bag

and a Giant Loop MoJavi Saddlebag

Rocket Moto has tons of stuff, but if you are looking for bike related electronics, they are a one stop shop with amazing service to boot. Adam is active on ADV and his vendor thread is HERE

Thanks for the support guys.

The last day to register before the prices go up is August 2nd. Don't miss out on a great weekend. Live music, free shuttle into town, great whiskey and amazing riding in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

For everyone that is registered I am doing the Monkey Butt 500 this weekend, but will send out an email with some additional info next week.

I need some assistance from all YFFs. I have six days to get to West Fest. Leaving the Sacramento, CA area on Aug 3rd, looking to arrive in Buena Vista on the 8th. I'm thinking about a semi-circle up through SE Oregon, Southern Idaho, SW Wyoming, through the Flaming Gorge area, then on to Buena Vista. This is all territory I'm not familiar with. I'm looking for things to see, places to go, roads to ride along that general route. All suggestions/ideas are welcome. Thanks.

P.S. Also have six days to get home. 12th thru 17th.

Yellowstone on the way here would be worth a day. On the way home, a day or two in the Ouray/Silverton area would also be fun.

rt 26 is THE road you want to ride E-W to get across Oregon.
tons of dirt along the rivers in ID. Western edge of WY is sweet.
Many ways to get to BV in Colo. Ride down and camp in Echo Park in Dino NP!

Take Hwy 150 south out of Evanston WY, then East on Mill Creek rd to FR 73 (in UT) Which will eventually spit you out on HWY 414 by Manila UT

I live in Buena Vista

I live in BV and want to participate. Can I pay the fees at the Campground to go directly to COHVCO as I don't need the camping, but want to enjoy the festivities
