Kibler Valley Road VA. is an extremely beautiful road that runs next to the Dan River. Not too far away and allot of fun.

Yeah, I guess it is for all the logging trucks. We went up it about a week ago and it was freshly covered.

Link to Belcher Mountain Youtube vid Sorry for the bad music.

Ok, I have one more. Road 623 going into Burkes Garden VA. This was a really fun road, and once again I am sorry about the music.

Click--> Part 1 up 623 to Burkes Garden

Click--> Part 2 Down 623

This is the kind of riding we do. If anyone wants to join us let me know.

We spent June in a house at the top of Belcher Mtn. Rd., where it levels out.

Do y'all ride much around Buffalo Mountain between the BRP and Willis? Lots of nice little gravel roads and a couple of woods roads that are perfect for a DR650 with 50/50 tires.

Dodged a few showers, but otherwise had a nice little jaunt:

Virginia ride

I'm not going to try to give a 3 day ride report but I wanted to thank those who gave suggestions on where to ride. Thursday and Friday got rained on about all day but still got a couple of hundred miles in both days, mostly blacktop. I rode about everywhere I had planned on. Saturday was a perfect day and spent alot of time on gravel. You guys have the best gravel roads I have ever been on. I'm coming back with the XR4 just for gravel. Thanks to all for the directions and advice.

We went to yadkin island state park yesterday and it didn't go well at all. I saw a little trial off to the right and took off down it. It turned out to be a hiking trail,oops. On the way out Jason picked up a framing nail. How the hell do you get a framing nail in your tire in the middle of nowhere?

I've got to run a few errands for a dog rescue group that I volunteer with from GSO to Mocksville and onto Lenior. I have an idea of the route i want to take from GSO to Mocksville but wanted to see if anyone had suggestions from Mocksville to Lenior?

601N to 268W then 321S that is if you can spare time. If not 601,421, 16 then 18.
