Yeah, that will help narrow it down.

He and I will both be on red and white Husky's. What will you be riding?

I don't post much here - usually my wife Am.E does. We're the ones who Bruced CheapB at his own job in a tag game a few months ago. I'd like to take out my DR-Z and tag along tomorrow. If that's cool - when / where should we meet for the Brushy Mountain ride?

Right now the plan is to meet at 10am at the store on the corner of 127 and 90. I'm in GSO as well so let me know if you want to follow me or ride together. I've got a tiny little S10 so while we can make it work it would be tight.

Dude, you're going to be waiting a long time. It's supposed to reach the mid 50's. Off road when it's cold isn't nearly as bad because you are going so much slower.

Your right, but those cold stretches of highway are what scare me away in the winter.

Turtle,

That's too far for the time I have today. Maybe next time.

Who's up for some short road rides during the week days? It's supposed to be in the upper 50's this week which sound much better than the 30's I have been riding in.

I'm thinking of starting in Lewisville and riding for a hour or two at the most, that's about all the time I have.

It's really just a excuse to get out of the house, keep the battery charged and not let the fuel go bad plus enjoy at least some riding.

We could meet most any place, just thought I would throw this out there and see what interest there is, hopefully everyone around here hasn't already hunkered down for the winter.

Starting after the 11th I should be open for an occasional mid-week jaunt out of Lewisville. I usually wander up towards Stokes County or over to the Brushy Mountains. There is always lunch in Grant, Va. - but that usually turns into a 4 hour trip.

I'm usually available for midweek rides and live in Greensboro so I could either ride over to Lewisville or meet you somewhere toward Stokes Co. I've done a little exploring of dirt roads around Stuart if you are up for it and have time.

I couldn't find a town/city of Grant in VA. What is this place you speak of?

Both sound good but I can't pack all that into 1-2 hour road rides. Exploring is out this time of year, I enjoy it but it takes too much time and I think I've been on every road within 1 hour from here.

Just too much going on from now to the first of the year to be gone for more than a couple of hours at a time. If I am real lucky I can be gone one morning but we would be starting at 8-9:00am The sun is still a bit low at that time, burr........

I rode around 9:30 Thursday morning and hit a few spots of ice.

Fox Creek General Store at the intersection of 16 and 658 (Flat Ridge Road).

658 to 601 to 93 is fairly bent.
