Looks good but appears to be about 3 hours from GSO so at least a 7-8 hour day for me. With the days so short and cold without heated gear I'd either have to do an overnight or wait till spring.

Just moved to Greensboro. I see a few of you have MX bikes. I was thinking of picking one up but wasnt sure if there is much trail riding in the area. I have street bikes too so hopefully I'll join in on some of the rides

I put it on the calendar. It's time I meet some guys around here. I've been pretty bad at posting too.

I've got a SM so I'll be up for mostly road rides and dirt roads. I miss trail riding but my bike's not set up for it.

After sticks and stones...you gotta grab a milk shake at Emma Keys!

New tires

Got some new sneakers on Thursday and tried to scuff them in today.

Stuart cemetery:

40 towards Ferrum was reasonably clean - as was Shooting Creek:

It was cold on top, so the coffee & chili at TG was much appreciated:

Not much going on here today:

Warmth starts to creep back into my hands, etc.:

Next week - Broxton Bridge

CheapB,

Nice picture - I don't recognize the setting. In which general direction did you wander today?

That was actually out some road I had never been on near Asbury. I ended up in Stuart, and needed to get on back home. Btw, nice Monster! :)

Hoodis,

I started the day with a group of 8 (including me) on everything from a Goldwing to a KTM EXC. I'm fairly certain I remember seeing you at some point, maybe on 8 just south of the the VA line.

And what will you be riding down at Broxton? I'll be there on my Husky TE511 or likely the only guy not on an orange bike.

Bump. This social meeting is one week away. Please come out and join us for pizza and beer. Hopefully if the weather is decent some of us will also be riding beforehand.

Please let me know if you plan to attend so the restaurant can plan for the turnout. It would be nice to finally meet Woodenviens and the Moose family.

Sorry I missed your post.

Saturday morning, before we got dirty:

Sunday morning before the sun popped out:

I don't think I've had that much fun in a long time. The 600 acre section on Sunday was extraordinary (we were some of the first through on Saturday and I had the honor of looking for arrows through those pines).
