I have already been in touch with the lovely folks at Keihan in the UK, and they have a complete Jota 180 exhaust system in stock and ready to ship.

I have even purchased a Minichamps 1:12 model of a Jota on eBay:

More to follow!

Nice find!! Really like the front fender of the early ones, the overbuilt stays.

BTW, Wolfgang has everything you need for your bike. Biggest Laverda parts inventory on earth. Plus the most honest guy you'll ever meet.

I've checked out Wolfgang's site; a bit hard to manage with the pop-ups, but it looks like he is a great source for stuff.

I also tried the Laverda forum, but it must take a while between the time you register and when the send you a confirmation code.

Wolfgang's site is definitely old school. A phone call often works good. He's in Italy right now, looking for Laverda parts at the Monza swap meet.

The Lambretta 200 DL had Electronic Ignition in 1971. Dunno if it was the first (i'm no historian) but it definitely pre-dates both of these bikes.

Here are my two.
Not totally standard, but sensibly modified to bring them more up to date.
I also have a few standards I restored as well.

Seeing as we're posting photos of our Lavs, Vince talked me into posting mine, on a weekend trip to Bunya mountains a few weeks ago:-

The all important cooler bag on the back:-

In the big bag I can get all the camping gear + food +port and some clothes, from the left, pegs, tent pole, tent, air bed, VB, chair, air pillow, sleeping bag:-

Then on the way to Ruptured Budgie, the bed roll and tent on the back I was carrying for the Suzuki rider, too much load for a jap bike apparently....
