Yet Another DR350 clutch issue
OK so I had the regular 1992 DR350 bike lurching forward in 1st with the clutch in. I have ripped out the entire clutch and found the Hub and Lockwasher gnarled up a bit, its got new plates in it and I bought a 2nd hand clutch on ebay with all the parts I needed to replace plus a new clutch cable for good measure,
but before I put it all back together and find nothing has changed... The Spacer (part 3 in below diagram) and washer at the back (part 2) that the clutch sits on is jammed still and I can't get it out, I can upload a pic when I get home if that will help. A) is this a problem or can I just sit the new clutch on it (it spins fine around it) B) is there some special trick to getting it off? Diagram Cheers. |

If the new clutch has enough clearance to not drag you may be fine but I would still want to see the washer.
Wear on the washer is what creates the 0 clearance issue so I would not want to put it back together without taking a good look at it. |

Got it off, I had to get a screwdriver behind it and hammer it free, once it came loose I had to use the nail remover on a hammer to get it the rest of the way off, the washer was screwed and bent out of shape and so was the end of the spacer so just going to replace the whole lot! glad I persisted!
