I just pissed my pants. It's been a while since something this crazy looking, this visceral popped onto my motorcycling radar. Just seeing the pics, imagining the hefty twin bark with that semi-legal exhaust has me thinking of binning the Ducatis and going orange.

In a way, I admire KTM for building a bike that very few people can actually afford, and even less can ride to the limit.

In some ways, I think this is KTM positioning themselves as a germanic rival to Ducati.

qv. the new ka-toom ADV bike going pretty much head-to-head with the MS1200.

KTM have lost the battle against BMW, sales-wise, so they might as well target the high margin consumer group.

We have no idea on the cost of tis bike yet. The real production bike will probably have for fiberglass or plastic parts than the bike shown. The way I see it this is like the "R" version of a production bike...Just my 2 cents

The 990 was a blast. This is only going to be way better...if you can stay out of court, the hospital, and or the morgue. Then, again, you gotta' go somehow. Very cool. Love the Katooms.

For a bike like this one, I don't think cost really factors into it that much. The bike itself doesn't really have too much to it, as a production item, so the cost is all premium parts - which is good

For someone who knows what this bike is and what it does, an extra couple grand isn't going to matter.

Me. Want. Now.

With a Ducati swingarm. Looks cool and will destroy the market for used 990's so I'll be able to get one dirt cheap.

This is my new background pic on my computer...I cant stop thinking about this bike!! Its looks like its gonna kick your ass just sitting there. Now that I am older I have always wanted a sportbike with more comfortable ergos yet still sporty enough to take to track days. All the other naked bikes never did anything for me. I cant wait to see this thing in person!
