Rubber mounts for battery box

I remember seeing a substitute source for the rubber mounts used on the battery box on the ST and G/S. They were from an industrial supply house. I can't find the post.

The stock BMW battery box mounts are pretty pricey for such a small part.

Can someone direct me?

Sorry I can't give you the specific page and which item it is but it's somewhere there.

I have mounts similar to described...M6-1.00 thread, approx. same height. They are not new however, removed from equipment...old auto parts. PM if interested...inexpensive too.

Cool2

IF I am not mistaken, the AIR CLEANER MOUNTS (10mm nuts and shafts) from a late 70's to 1985 Mercedes Benz DIESEL (240d, 300d, 300td, 300Sd) will fit correctly...Any decent auto parts store that sells IMPORT parts should have these....Possible also for some VW diesel vehicles.

See 'ya,
