Camping in the Phoenix, AZ area?
If this should be in the trip planning area, feel free to bitch me out.
I might be in the Phoenix area for a night during Thanksgiving week and would like to know of any good, easy to get to camp grounds. Looking for something with showers hopefully and maybe a Waffle House close by. Did see a KOA on Google maps, but a locals suggestion would be nice. Thanks

North of Phoenix is the Lake Pleasant area. There are a bunch of different options all with a Lake view. Pleasant Harbour has grassy spots for a tent and hot showers. PM me with any specific questions.

I was able to get out for Monday and Tuesday. Had a great ride and meal at the Waffle House.
