There is a coupon on their website for $3.00 off, I think it's motorcyclesupershow.ca but don't quote me.

The address is 7071 Airport Rd - the easiest way to access it is to go north about a hundred yards past Derry, turn right - it's the last place in the strip mall.

So far it's five of us for sure, but we've heard from the following as maybes:
ceacea & stfmkr
natnewt
Groves

We'll be stopping in to the DSP booth in the afternoon to let them know as well, in case they have not checked in here.

If I'm at the show late, may I join the Gong Show?

Absolutely.

With you, count sits at roughly ten. I'll call to make sure they set aside some space.

$3.00 discount has some time restrictions (Friday all day, and Saturday after 5pm).

I'll be there on Friday night with buddy in tow.
I think we'll be going to "Zets" to eat first.

I'd like to go, but the only thing I'd be interested in would be the new Kawasaki's, seeing as they weren't at the " manufacturers show" in Decenber. Paying $20.00( $40.00, if I bring junior) to see just a handfull of bikes doesn't make alot of sense.
All the custom bike stuff has zero interest for me. And I have lots of old bikes of my own.
The other thing, and this is a bit petty I know, but the guy that runs the whole show told me about 10 years ago that he makes enough from the booth rentals from exibitors to cover most, if not all his expenses. Which means every admission is clear profit on top of that. OK, so I'm a bitter that someone I know has figured out how to make a very good living while still playing with motorcycles, but I would think they could make admission price a little lower.
But, as long as they keep filling the building, why would they?

Well, I was on the fence about attending as I don't have anything planned, nor do I need anything motorcycle related. My only interest was that I'm new to the area and wouldn't mind checking it it out. Now that you mentioned the 20 buck greed fee, I think I'll spend that money and do some sledding with my kids instead.

Thanks,

I've been going to this show every year for probably 30 years. I find that there's less and less I want to see, and it's all started to look the same from year-to-year. I guess I'm in the fortunate position of not needing anything.

It's a nice dose of motorcycles in the middle of winter, but this time I'm taking a pass & going skiing instead, since we seem to have ourselves a decent ski season for a change.

Less people going, therefor must raise prices... works every time.

I wonder if the salami vendor will still be giving free samples? Maybe no free toothpics

Personally, I always enjoy the vintage section. Bar brings out some sweetness for that roped in area.

Back in the late '70's a wiley carney figured out there was a market for oggling motorcycles in the middle of a Southern Ontario winter. Wonder how long it took before he realised he'd created an institution.

Whatever. I'll be going again this year and enjoying the things I always do, and maybe a few more besides. Might even have an over-priced beer in the vintage hall and toast the foresight of Canada's richest carney.

I'm going saturday with the girlfriend. Will go to the show early, then food with some friends which I only see about three times a year. (this being one of them) After that drop in a see my daughter.
As to the price of the show ... yes I think it is a little high. But then I got them as a christmas present. So then they were free to me.

I still can't see, without buying anything at the show getting away without spending close to $100

WOW! TWENTY BUCKS! This from people willing to spend upwards of 20K on a pastime, that at best, lasts 8-9 months in this country. C'MON MAN!
